Maui is different And Maui Real Estate is totally different
When most of you are celebrating Christmas, we can go to the beach. And when you are welcoming the New Year, we can still go to the beach. You just have to admit that Maui is different! With a growing population, many more people are looking for the best places to live. Maui is one of these places. Isn’t that why you want to be here too?
See! And that’s why Maui Real Estate is totally different. I am referring to yesterday’s entry “Wailea Real Estate and Makena Real Estate Sales are up in May 2009“. Somehow it triggered more calls and emails then any other previous message I posted. Thank you very much for your messages. All others, please read this entry if you have not yet done so.
Responsibly, I want to point out again that our prices are not increasing. We do not have the values nor the appreciation we got used to three to five years ago. But our Maui Real Estate Market also never declined like certain markets on the mainland. All I pointed out was that showings, Escrows and the numbers of closed sales have significantly increased over the past weeks, specially in May 2009.
My assumption is simple: there is a growing number of people who are “finding the nuggets” in this market. That’s why I suggested that “smart $$$ is buying now”. While there is no insurance on the Maui Real Estate values, they seem to be stronger then elsewhere. Maui is different. Ultimately, you will have to decide if you will ever want to buy and live in one of the best places. I strongly believe that this must be one of the best times to buy Maui Real Estate in our lifetime.
Today’s Maui Photo is something I found by accident. I did not look very hard, just found this pineapple, growing poolside in one of my client’s yard. Only after taking the shot during sunset, I realized the impeccable colors of this clean shot. No flash, no nothing.
