Hoolei At Wailea may NOT have to deal with additional view obstructions from Grand Wailea Resort Hotel

Life is good as a Maui Real Estate Agent! Simple. Sure easier then being a lawyer or a judge, having to deal with the possible view obstructions for a number of units in Hoolei At Wailea, should the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel ever receive approval for it’s 310-room expansion plans.

Today, the Maui News reported about this week’s meeting at the Maui Planning Commission. It has been decided that there will be “No Appeal on Voided Permit for Wailea Project“, referring to the anyhow mega-sized-800-room Grand Wailea Resort Hotel on Wailea Beach. This is not a final ruling in the case and the following process is explained in the article.

I have not seen these expansion plans myself, but the red spot on the Maui Aerial Photo below clearly marks the main location directly located in the view corridor of Hoolei At Wailea. Stay tuned as I will be posting updates here on my Maui Real Estate Blog.
