Papali Wailea unit #11 sold at the Best Price ever since this Wailea Condo became available in 2008

It’s been just over 3 months that unit #29 in Papali Wailea sold for $3,200,000.00 as one of the highest priced Wailea Condos in this complex since it came to market in early 2008. That is exactly one million more then today’s sale of Papali Wailea unit #11. In this case, the $2,200,000.00 sales price even included a brand new designer furniture package. This “deal was a steal” considering the original sales price in June 2008 without any furnishings for $2,950,000.00.

Papali Wailea is considered a New Development within the Wailea Resort area. Only 24 units on roughly 10 acres of land, are offering a very low density with lots of privacy for individual owners. With a stainless steel frame and the extensive use of Alaskan Yellow Cedar, the construction is superior to pretty much any of the Wailea Condos. The common pool is, without a doubt, one of the best three pools of any South Maui Condo complex. And this view is good to stay:

Reporting Lots of Action from the Wailea Town Center Condos

The Wailea Town Center is a mixed-use commercial and residential project located above the Grand Champions Villas. With only 7 residential condos located on the 2nd level (4 in the C building and 3 in the D building) it means a lot when there is one new Escrow AND one closing. Specially if the last transaction for this quiet Wailea Condo was reported 2 years ago in September 2007.

Unit C-201 has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with over 1,900 square feet and sold this past Friday for $850,000.00. Unit C-203 is listed for $1,200,000.00 and received an accepted just a few weeks ago. D-203 is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit and the only one still available in the Wailea Town Center at the moment. It is listed for $1,175,000.00 and offers the most spectacular, unobstructed view. The photo below was taken from the lanai.

Though part of the Wailea Town Center is designated for commercial use, there are clear restrictions. The tranquility up here is beautiful, yet, you are in walking distance to The Shops At Wailea. Single car garages and a private pool are part of the amenities that run with the ownership. This is a great little gem: modern and very well constructed.

Coldwell Banker now the only Maui Real Estate company in The Shops At Wailea?

NO! At least not yet. But Coldwell Banker Island Properties is the only company of ALL South Maui Real Estate companies in business, who chose to advertise in the current issue of the prestigious Guest Informant, the service and directory magazine for The Shops At Wailea. All of us in the office have decided to continue to utilize this opportunity and advertise on the back cover. Here it is:

That used to be different. Other competitors and individual agents also used to advertise in this magazine. Times have changed.

In addition, Coldwell Banker Island Properties is the only Maui Real Estate company that has a dedicated magazine, featuring only the companies listings and their agents. The name is “Maui, A Property Portfolio” and the focus is on the Real Estate inventory such as Wailea Condos and Makena Homes. Content is paid for by the individual agents, plus, the magazine also features a list of contractors and services available on the island. Most importantly, this publication is new every quarter and mailed to a selected list of afluent home owners risiding on Maui and the mainland.
