Two New Escrows in the Category for Wailea Homes within ONE Week

This is great news! There are two new Escrows within just ONE week. The category for Wailea Homes now shows six very different properties with accepted offers in the Maui MLS. Our MLS system actually combines the search results for Wailea and Makena Homes. Included in these six accepted offers is an oceanfront property down in Makena listed for $4,750,000.00. This Makena Home is located very close to Baby Beach.

The Wailea Homes in Escrow are listed between $895,000.00 and 1,999,000.00. The two properties showing below $1,000,000.00 are both located in Wailea Kai. One of these properties has actually only been on the market for about seven days before it received an acceptable offer this week. The second new Escrow was awarded to a home in Wailea Kialoa. The remaining two homes that will soon have new owners are located in Wailea Golf Estates and Wailea Pualani respectively.

Both of them are also below $1,000,000.00. That is the current “entry ticket” to purchase a home in this area of South Maui.

Wailea Home below $1M is a New Listing in Wailea Kai

Welcome to South Maui: welcome to one of the most famous beaches on Maui, maybe in Hawaii. Keawakapu Beach is located at the entrance to Wailea. It is featuring beautiful white sand and marks the most northern point of the popular Wailea Beach walkway. Here you can buy oceanfront homes between $10 and $20M. A ‘fixer upper’ might stay below $10M.

And here is the trick: Just across South Kihei Road, a stone throw from Keawakapu Beach, that is the location of the gated community Wailea Kai. There are only very few homes that offer small pockets of ocean views. This location is all about the proximity to the beach which can be reached via two entrances, all within walking distance.

Today, Wailea Kai added a second home listed below $1M to the listing portfolio. These are not high-end homes of course. They are in good shape, older homes, built in the early 1980′s. But they are right behind the multi million $$ beachfront homes. Wow, you really can’t beat this price / location combination. Wailea Kai is a quaint and quiet neighborhood, a real hide-away from everywhere else.
