The Wailea Beach Villas, a newer oceanfront Wailea condo complex, has been named to the ‘Gold List’ of the famous Conde Nast Traveler magazine. In today’s issue, the Maui News reported about the appointment in it’s business section. The headline reads “Wailea Beach Villas makes 2013 Gold List”.
The “Reader’s Choice Awards” for the Wailea Beach Villas shown on the Conde Nast Traveler’s website, is a combination of points for rooms, service, food, location, design and activities. The total score is noted with 93.7 for the Wailea Beach Villas. It should be noted that this is NOT a hotel but a fee simple Wailea Condo with individual property owners.
Today’s Maui photo shows the lower, ocean side infinity edge pool of the Wailea Beach Villas, not more then a stone throw from the white sandy beach and the Pacific ocean.
Only 3 units have been sold in this Wailea condo in 2012. That is only 50% of the 6 sales in 2011 and 7 sales recorded in 2010. At the time of this posting, Wailea Beach Villas has no unit in escrow. An average of 8 to 10 units have been listed for sale at any given time. Around 10% of the 98 units in the complex. Amazing for our rising market at this time.
