Sold lots in Kilohana Waena trigger price adjustments in Kihei in South Maui

There are not many pieces of Kihei vacant land left! At least not this far down in South Kihei and this close to the ocean. The 31 lots of Kilohana Waena are located on quiet Hoolapa Street, off South Kihei Road, yet, in short walking distance to Keawakapu Beach.

Two parcels sold today, one for $305,000.00 and the second one for $315,000.00 respectively. Today’s sales triggered price adjustments for the remaining lots of Kilohana Waena. Prices were raised by $50,000.00. The lots of Kilohana Waena are roughly between 7500 and 8500 square feet of vacant land with a couple of exceptions.

Today’s Maui photo shows how close Kilohana Waena is located to Keawakapu Beach. The aerial photo identifies the popular Kihei homes of Kilohana Ridge just in the north, Papali Wailea in the south and the Mana Kai condos on the north end of the beach.

The Renaissance Resort and Baccarat Wailea are history – Aloha Andaz!

At this point, the once popular Renaissance Wailea Resort and the rather sad marketing efforts for the Baccarat Wailea property during the real estate downturn, are fading memories, clearly history. Welcome and Aloha to the Andaz Wailea Beach Resort and Residences. Thank you Hyatt for bringing a fantastic South Maui location back to life! The Pacific Business News recently announced “Hyatt’s Andaz Maui at Wailea opening this summer“.

The Andaz Wailea Residences as part of the new Wailea Beach resort are offered for sale. For the 12 units available, offerings vary from $5.6 million through 11.4 million, depending on view and location. These Wailea Condos have been announced as a New Development but are not officially listed for sale in the Maui MLS.

Today’s Maui photo is a visual contribution to the well-loved Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort with it’s famed Maui Onion pool side restaurant. These were the ‘good old days’. Progress is fast. Rumors have it that the New Development of the Andaz Wailea Residences and the resort hotel with it’s amenities are scheduled to open by the end of June 2013.
