Why we collect personal information
VWonMaui collects and uses your personal information to give you better service, provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient and customized experience that grants convenient access to our products and services, and make a wider range of products and services available to you. We will also use this information to resolve disputes, collect fees, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement. Additionally, VWonMaui uses your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, special offers, and any other information we think you’d like to hear about. This may occasionally include information from other companies about products and services that can add value or increase the convenience of the VWonMaui products you use. From time to time, we may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better methods of delivering the corporate documents you want to you in the way you want.
How we collect personal information
We collect information about you in several ways. For example, we might ask for your contact information when you correspond with us, use our site to make a purchase or participate in an online survey. In addition, when you register as a new VWonMaui on-line member, or ask to be included in an email mailing list, we collect and store the information you provide in a secure database.
To save you time and make our on-line services easier to use, the VWonMaui website allow you to create an “VWonMaui ID” using your personal information. Here’s how it works: Simply fill out a brief profile – your name, phone number, and email address – then choose a password and password hint (such as the month and day of your birth) for security. The system saves your information and assigns you a personal VWonMaui ID that is related to the email address with which you registered. Next time you order something from VWonMaui, you can simply enter your email address and password – the system will automatically look up the information it needs.
Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your VWonMaui password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify VWonMaui and change your password.
When we disclose personal information
VWonMaui protects your personal information in accordance with the VWonMaui Customer Privacy Policy. Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below:
Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. For example, we give shipping companies this information so they can deliver any physical product you order efficiently. Protection of VWonMaui and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our User Agreement and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of VWonMaui, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.
Law Enforcement: We release account and other personal information to law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, state, zip code, telephone number, email address, User ID history and IP address.

VWonMaui safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Your information is stored on our servers. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure.
